CHIREC is a private hospital group comprising 3 hospitals and 6 polyclinics. It provides care in all medical and surgical fields, with the exception of cardiac surgery.

We’ve been producing all of CHIREC’s video communications for many years now. So we know the hospital very well. One of the realities of the sector is the difficulty of recruiting nursing staff. We had already produced videos of staff testimonials from various departments as part of specific campaigns. This time, they asked us to produce an advertising video to highlight CHIREC’s strengths and encourage people to want to work there.
The first step was to clearly understand the issues, the points to highlight and the message to get across. We therefore focused our communication on the fact that CHIREC is an experience of a lifetime, different from other employers. The second stage involved writing the script in partnership with the communications team. We aimed for a script that mixed striking images with the use of staff voices to support these images.
Filming took place over 2 days on the 3 hospital sites. It required meticulous preparation in order to be as efficient as possible and to have the time to produce each shot to the highest standard. We came with a team of 3 people (a director, a cameraman and an assistant).
Post-production took 3 days. The video was released in cinema format for projection on screens (in the hospital, at trade fairs, on the website, etc.) and in square format for social networks. 2 versions were planned: a long version (1 minute) with voice-overs and a short version (30 seconds) with only keywords, which is better suited to social networks.
